I’ve been exposed to coaching since little league baseball back in the 1980s! I was coached in football, basketball, wrestling, and track. But it wasn’t until my service in the military that I learned many Total Quality Management (TQM) skills and techniques, including coaching, to help people with complexities. I’ve used these skills almost everyday in everything I do. I even had the opportunity to coach junior and high school basketball along the way.
In 2014, I felt the need to help individual business owners reach goals, improve results, and become more competitive by helping align plans, processes, decisions, people, actions, and results. Since then I’ve helped and accountant, aromatherapist, auto repair owner, real estate agent, software developer, thermographer, website developer, and others to regain focus in their businesses.
Perhaps I can help you do the same. Below are the general concepts from my coaching agreement. Hopefully this information helps you understand more about what we can do together.
Coaching is an ongoing relationship between you and me. The opportunity for your success dramatically increases through this relationship because changing habits and creating possibilities is a process and being accountable is critical in your success.
Coaching is a structure that facilitates personal and professional development and our coaching relationship will be designed together.
Coaching is for a person who is emotionally and psychologically healthy and who wants to make changes and move forward in their business and life. Coaching is not psychotherapy or psychological counseling. In the event you feel the need for professional therapy or counseling, it is your responsibility to seek a licensed professional to provide the results you seek.
By entering a coaching relationship, we both acknowledge that you want to make significant progress and change in your business and life. Because progress and change happen at rates that are unique to each person, we’ll commit to working with each other for an initial three-month period. This allows the coaching relationship time to develop and progress through objectives, obstacles, and successes that occur.
Results are not guaranteed. You enter into this relationship with the understanding that you are responsible for creating your desired results. My responsibility is to help you in your effort to achieve the business-related goals and results you seek.
